Getting Portland on the second leg of the Pacific Northwest trip was never easy, as you’re coming off an always difficult game against Gonzaga. And so the Waves lost in real life by eight. And here, Pepperdine got blown out in the cards-and-dice game. But, both of the computers went the Waves’ way.

The Waves’ shooting dipped to 30.9% in the blowout CB2K loss. But Pepperdine shot 50% or better in both computer wins. Stacy Davis had a couple of big performances in the two victories, going for 18 and 13 in Action! PC and 26 points in Courtside College Basketball. Both wins followed a similar storyline. Pepperdine trailed at halftime, but shut down the Pilots in the second half. Alec Wintering, who scored 34 in real life for the Pilots, continued to be a problem with 25, 21 and 19 in the three simulations.
