June 17: The Giants scored twice in the first on an RBI single by Will Clark and a sacrifice fly by Kevin Mitchell, but they wouldn’t score for another nine innings. Cincinnati tied it on a two-RBI single by Rolando Roomes in the third. In the bottom of the 10th, Brett Butler led off with a single. After a sacrifice bunt, a walk and an error loaded the bases. Candy Maldonado provided a successful suicide squeeze for the walk-off victory.
