Oregon State tied it on a two-out RBI singly by Wes Schulmerich in the fifth inning. The Cardinal went ahead in the 13th when Bob Boone led off with a single and later scored on an error. The Beavers loaded the bases with two outs in the bottom of the 13th but couldn’t bring a run home.
