2001 San Jose Earthquakes July Recap

Another month, another series of results close to the actual thing. Both in Soccer Blast and real life, the sequence went T-L-W-W. Only the fifth and final match of the month turned out different, with the Earthquakes turning a real-life road loss into a tie. Ronald Cerritos had another big month with a hat trick and a total of four goals, and three different San Jose defenders found the back of the net. San Jose now stands at 11-4-4 with seven matches to go. In real life the Earthquakes were 10-4-5 at the end of July.
