All-Time Tennis: Brisbane

Brisbane provided a couple of unexpected winners. The top seeds on the men’s side, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, were knocked out in the semifinals by Andre Agassi and Ivan Lendl. Agassi won the first set of the final and had a chance for his second straight tournament championship, but Lendl rallied to win in three. The women’s tournament didn’t have the strongest field, and it was Jennifer Capriati that posted three straight wins as an underdog (all in three sets) to claim the victory.
