In the final tune-up prior to the French Open, Rafael Nadal denied Novak Djokovic a small bit of history and took home the men’s crown. Djokovic was seeking to become the first person to win three straight mini-tournaments on one surface, but Nadal came through with his second victory of the season. On the women’s side, all of the highest-rated players didn’t participate in this one. Martina Hingis, the top seed, beat Iga Swiatek in the final for her third victory.
