For the fourth straight tournament, the women had a first-time winner. This time, Justine Henin was the victor. We were denied our first potential Williams vs. Williams match when both sisters were upset in the quarterfinals. On the men’s side, Andre Agassi lost the first set in both the semifinals and finals but rallied to claim his second tournament title. Strasbourg marks the return to France ahead of the French Open, with only two more mini-tournaments to play.
