September 23: Jose Canseco homered in his each of his first three at-bats, hitting a two-run blast in the first inning and solo shots in the third and fifth. He was hit by a pitch his fourth time up, then struck out in his final appearance. The Twins’ Tim Laudner hit a three-run homer in the second inning to put Minnesota up 3-2, but that would be it for the Twins as Mike Moore was otherwise on top of his game.
