GTOP S1W7: Recap

All four series in week seven resulted in a decisive winner, and the top three teams in the standings were among the successful ones. But while the 1917 Chicago White Sox and the 1911 Philadelphia Athletics both won three games, the 1912 New York Giants swept the 1906 Chicago Cubs to increase their lead to three games with eight to play. The pennant race is not over, however, as the Giants have to wrap up their season against their top competitors in the Athletics and the White Sox.
