Game #3: Washington 6, Chicago 4
The Senators led 3-0 and 4-2, but Chicago tied in the sixth inning on Hack Wilson’s two-run home run. Goose Goslin restored the Washington lead with a two-run homer of his own in the seventh inning. Chicago turned a triple play in the loss. In the top of the second, after Washington scored three runs, there were runners on second and third with no one out. Tom Zachary hit a soft liner into right field and Kiki Cuyler made a shoestring catch. Both runners thought it was going to fall in for a hit, and they were put out.
