The Sacramento Kings had a disastrous showing playing their second road game in two nights, getting blasted by the Atlanta Hawks 148-120.
The Hawks had season bests by an opponent for scoring and shooting (63.3.%). Atlanta hit on 70.8% of its two-point attempts.
Seven of Atlanta’s nine players scored in double-figures, with four getting 20 or more: Trae Young (28 plus 12 assists), Dejounte Murray (25), Clint Capela (22 plus 11 rebounds) and De’Andre Hunter (20).
Harrison Barnes was the only King to crack 20, and he had 21. Sacramento shot 47.9% from the field.

The Kings scored the first five points of the game and led for much of the first four minutes or so. But a 15-2 Atlanta run gave the Hawks a 27-17 lead, and put them ahead to stay. It was 38-35 at the end of the first quarter. The Hawks began the second quarter on a 16-2 run, making it 54-37. The Hawks led by double-figures the rest of the way. It was 74-59 after two quarters and 117-94 after three quarters. Sacramento got no closer than 12 points in the second half.
