For the second straight game, the Sacramento Kings took a big first-quarter lead, never trailed and cruised to an easy win, this time on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers, 124-97.
The Kings (12-9) held an opponent below 100 points for the first time since the second game of the season and outshot the Clippers 59.7% to 45.7%.
De’Aaron Fox scored a game-high 25 points and was one of eight Kings to score in double-figures. Malik Monk had 17 off the bench.
John Wall led a Clippers team playing without most of their stars, as he scored 24 points off the bench.

The Kings scored the first 10 points of the game, five by Fox and five by Keegan Murray. Another 10-0 run late in the first quarter, with two KZ Okpala three-pointers, made it a 20-point game at 32-12. It was 34-16 at the end of the first quarter. The Kings made 14 of 19 shots, while the Clippers were 4-for-16.
The Kings matched that 20-point lead on three occasions in the second quarter, including at the half, as they had a 58-38 lead.
Sacramento led by as many as 24 early in the third quarter, though Los Angeles chipped away and got the deficit down to 14 points late in the period. It was 90-75 heading into the final quarter.
The Kings put the game away with an 11-0 run, which put the Kings up by 27 at 112-85. They took their biggest lead of the game at 117-87.
