The Sacramento Kings and Toronto Raptors were locked in a close game throughout, but the Kings won the final four minutes and came away with their third consecutive road victory, 138-126.
Five Kings scored at least 20 points, led by Malik Monk’s season-high 34 off the bench. He made 12 of 17 shots, with six three-pointers. They had three double-doubles: 25 points and 11 assists by De’Aaron Fox, and 20 points and 12 rebounds from both Harrison Barnes and Domantas Sabonis. Keegan Murray scored 21.
The referee’s whistles were busy, as the teams combined for 51 fouls and 62 free throws. The Kings had the edge, going 30-for-35 from the line to the Raptors’ 23-for-27. And while Toronto’s Pascal Siakam scored a game-high 38 points, he also fouled out in the fourth quarter.

The Kings got off to a good start, scoring the first seven points and taking an 11-point lead at 17-6 less than five minutes in. The Raptors turned things around, scoring 11 straight points, six by Siakam, to the tie the game. The lead bounced back and forth and Sacramento had a 35-33 lead after the first period.
The Kings took a seven-point lead at 40-33 after a three-pointer by Murray, but the Raptors would end up with a seven-point lead at 55-48 after three-pointers by Siakam and Gary Trent. Toronto led 66-65 at halftime.
The Raptors built a seven-point lead again at 84-77 midway through the third quarter. Sacramento rallied and took a 91-88 lead on a Fox three-pointer. But Toronto led 95-93 heading into the final period.
It was tied at 100 when the Kings went on a 13-2 run. Monk had a pair of baskets as Sacramento went up 113-102 with under nine minutes to play. Toronto quickly came back with an 10-0 run, with Trent hitting a pair of three-pointers, cutting the deficit to one at 116-115 with under seven minutes left. It was still a one-point game at 119-118 when the Kings finally took control of the contest, scoring 13 straight points, seven of them coming from Monk, to pull ahead 134-121 with under two minutes to play. The Kings outscored the Raptors 45-31 in the final quarte.r
