The Sacramento Kings only led briefly in the first 44 minutes of their home contest against the Los Angeles Lakers, and trailed by as many as 16 in the second quarter, but rallied late to post a 127-122 victory.
The Sacramento starters scored 111 of the 127 points: De’Aaron Fox with 31, Domantas Sabonis with 24 (and 11 rebounds), Harrison Barnes and Kevin Huerter each with 22 and Keegan Murray with 12.
LeBron James had a huge game with 42 points and nine rebounds, but no one else on the Lakers had more than 16.
LA outshot Sacramento 57.0% to 52.9%, but the Kings hit 17 three-pointers (five by Huerter and four by Murray) to the Lakers’ five.
The Kings won a game they lost in real life for the second straight contest, and they’re now 22-16 in the replay, two games better than real life.

The Kings’ only lead until the fourth quarter came at 4-3. James had 18 points in the first quarter to help the Lakers to a 37-30 advantage.
Five different Lakers scored in an 11-3 run that gave Los Angeles its biggest lead of the game at 56-40 with under four minutes to play in the first half. It was 66-53 at halftime.
The Lakers’ biggest lead of the third quarter was 13 points at 80-67. The Kings ended the quarter on a 10-2 run to cut the deficit to 86-83.
Barnes opened the fourth quarter with a three-pointer to tie the game at 86, but the Lakers would go back up by five several times, last at 97-92. A Murray three-pointer would tie the game at 101. Another Murray three-pointer gave the Kings their first lead since 4-3 at 108-107 with under four minutes to play. The Kings would never relinquish that lead. James had the Lakers’ final seven points, but it wasn’t enough. The Kings went 8-for-9 from the foul line in the final two minutes to ice the victory.
