Tennis became the sixth different sport to reach the table when I added Let’s Plaay Tennis to the collection during the Black Friday sales.
I picked up the all-time greats set with the game, which has 32 men and 32 women. I created a full season for both of them, and then used the game’s quick-play function for its entirety.
I scheduled a full season based around each of the four Grand Slams, with eight mini-tournaments ahead of each major tournament. Each player took part in three of the eight smaller tournaments (giving each event a field of 12). All 32 players then took part in the Grand Slam tournament. Each player appeared in 16 tournaments over the course of the season.
The overall points winners for season 1 were Ivan Lendl and Martina Hingis.
This project ran from January to April 2024.
