2023 Year in Review

Here are some season totals in my first year playing these games.

There were 10 projects completed, and there is one more still in progress.

Here’s how many times each game was officially played (this doesn’t include test games where I was learning how to play, but only the games that were recorded on this site).

Of course, this doesn’t count Out of the Park 2024, which saw the SoCal Renegades play more than 5,200 games over 32 seasons on auto-pilot (with a regular-season record of 2,728-2,457).

What’s coming in 2024? I’ve already put the 1989 Oakland Athletics replay and the all-time tennis greats season on the site and those will be starting imminently.

There will probably be more soccer. After doing the 2022 World Cup replay with Dice United 2, I picked up the 1930 and 1954 World Cup sets.

A new version of Pocket Pennant Run has been released, so if I upgrade to that, I might see about doing a second season of the College MLB League.

There’s another wrestling game that’s been added to the collection, Face to the Mat, so that will probably get a tryout too at some point.

I’d like to do some more basketball, but am unsure of what platform to go with and haven’t found the right project.
