GTOP S1W4: Recap

Five of the nine teams have reached the halfway point of their season, and the other four will join them next week. The 1912 New York Giants (idle this week) and the 1917 Chicago White Sox (who went 2-2 in week four) are tied atop the standings at 8-4. Things are still reasonably close from top to bottom, with only four games separating first from last place. Ty Cobb’s season is halfway done and he’s batting .460, and it will be interesting to see if maintain anything close to that pace.
