April 18 (4-0 win): The Giants got their first shutout of the season thanks to eight innings of brilliant work by Logan Webb. He gave up just one hit, a sixth-inning single to Kyren Paris. The Angels also drew a total of four walks, but only once did a runner make it to second base. Webb struck out eight and improved to 2-3. The Giants didn’t hit the ball well, but did enough. In the second inning, Tyler Fitzgerald started the scoring with a two-out RBI single. The Giants then pulled off a double-steal for their second run. In the top of the ninth, the Giants got two more runs with the help of two errors and a sacrifice fly by Mike Yastrzemski.
