The Sacramento Kings’ seven-game winning streak came to an end with a less-than-stellar 124-120 home loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Keegan Murray scored a team-high 25 points and hit a season-high five three-pointers. De’Aaron Fox scored 24 and Kevin Huerter had 20, though both fouled out late. Domantas Sabonis returned to the lineup and had 12 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored a game-high 27 points for the Thunder, while Josh Giddey and Jalen Williams both had 20.
The Thunder outshot the Kings (27-17) 51.1% to 47.8%.

The teams played a close first quarter, with seven lead changes. It ended up tied at 26.
After three more lead changes to start the second quarter, the Thunder began to take control. They built their first double-digit lead at 52-42, and went into the break with a 55-49 advantage.
A 10-1 run gave the Kings their only lead of the second half at 67-66. The Thunder immediately responded with a 13-0 run to go up by 12 at 79-67. Oklahoma City would lead 92-75 after three quarters.
OKC’s biggest lead came in the fourth quarter when the Thunder went up by 20 on four occasions, last at 103-83 with under 10 minutes to go. The Kings made a furious rally to close the gap late. It was 116-110 with under two minutes to play. The Thunder went 6-for-6 from the foul line in the final minute to hold the Kings off.
