Two former Kings helped hand Sacramento one of its worst defeats of the season, as the Indiana Pacers posted a 144-115 home victory.
The Kings were without De’Aaron Fox and his 26.4 ppg scoring average, but it wouldn’t have mattered. Sacramento didn’t play any defense as Indiana made 58.1% of its shots and sank 20 three-pointers, second-most by a Kings opponent this season.
Former King Buddy Hield might have had the game of his life, making all 13 of his shots from the field and all nine of his three-pointers for 36 points. He did miss one free throw, though. Another former King, Tyrese Haliburton, had 25 points and eight assists.
For Sacramento (30-21), Domantas Sabonis just missed a triple-double with team highs of 27 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists. Harrison Barnes bounced back from a zero-point performance in the previous game to score 26 in this one.
