The Sacramento Kings got back on track offensively and put up big numbers in a 131-121 road victory at the Phoenix Suns.
De’Aaron Fox led the way again with 36 points and eight assists. Domantas Sabonis (24 points, 16 rebounds) and Keegan Murray (21 points, 10 rebounds) both had double-doubles. The Kings (34-23) shot 60.5% from the field and scored at least 30 points in every quarter.
Phoenix got 24 points apiece from Deandre Ayton and Josh Okogie and 23 from Devin Booker. Sacramento was able to overcome the Suns’ 17-for-30 (56.7%) effort from beyond the arc.

The Kings got off to a good start by scoring the first eight points and taking an early 10-point lead at 14-4. Phoenix would tie it at 24, however. Sacramento led 32-31 at the end of the first quarter.
Phoenix took its first lead of the game at 40-38 after two straight baskets by Ayton. The second quarter was very close, with neither team leading by more than four points, and the Kings led 62-60 at halftime.
There were eight lead changes in the first seven minutes of the second half as the game remained close. But on the last one, Davion Mitchell’s three-pointer put the Kings ahead 78-77 and they would never trail again. Murray had eight points in an 11-3 run that saw Sacramento go up by nine at 91-82. It was 93-85 heading into the fourth quarter.
Phoenix got within three points twice, last at 101-98 with under nine minutes to play. But Sacramento scored the next seven points, five of them by Terence Davis, to push the lead to 10 at 108-98 with under seven minutes to go. Sacramento would lead by double-digits for most of the rest of the game, and took its biggest lead of 14 points twice.
