Devin Booker outdueled De’Aaron Fox and the Phoenix Suns outplayed the Sacramento Kings in the second half as the Suns posted a 135-123 home victory.
The Suns scored at least 31 points all four periods. After scoring 71 points in the first half to take a five-point halftime lead, the Kings (39-27) managed just 52 points in the second half.
De’Aaron Fox had teams highs of 36 points and eight assists. Domantas Sabonis had 23 points and 12 rebounds and Malik Monk had 22 points off the bench.
Booker scored 42 points to lead all scorers. Terrence Ross scored 22 points in 23 minutes off the bench. Deandre Ayton had 18 points and 15 rebounds.

For the first 20 minutes, neither team took a lead bigger than six points. The Kings finally broke through that toward the end of the second half with a couple of eight-point leads, and it was 71-66 at the break.
The third quarter was close throughout and there were five lead changes. The game went to the fourth quarter tied at 100.
A three-point play by Fox put the Kings down by one at 110-109 with with under nine minutes to play. Things fell apart from there, as the Kings couldn’t score for a few minutes and the Suns hit four three-pointers, two by Ross, in a 12-0 run that made it 122-109 with seven minutes left. The Kings only got the deficit back to single-digits once the rest of the way.
