Keegan Murray drained a clutch three-pointer in the final minute to break a tie ballgame and the Sacramento Kings managed to avoid blowing a 17-point second-half lead, as they held on to beat the Brooklyn Nets on the road, 112-108.
Domantas Sabonis had 28 points and 10 rebounds and De’Aaron Fox had 24 points and seven assists to lead the Kings (41-28), who continued their pattern of alternating wins and losses for the 11th contest in a row.
Sacramento outshot Brooklyn 55.6% to 44.0% but overcame 16 three-pointers by the Nets. Cameron Johnson led Brooklyn with 23 points and Mikal Bridges had 21.

The Nets led for almost the entirety of the first quarter. The Kings’ only lead came at 12-11 after a Fox three-point play. The Nets led by as many as six and it was 27-25 at the end of the period.
The Kings scored the first seven points of the second quarter and never trailed again. Brooklyn managed just 15 points in the quarter. Sacramento led by as many as 11 late in the period, and took a 51-42 advantage at halftime.
Brooklyn got the deficit down to five a couple of times in the third quarter, but a 10-0 run that included five points by Sabonis pushed Sacramento’s lead to 17 at 82-65. It was 86-73 heading into the final quarter.
The Nets went to the free throw line often in the fourth quarter and chipped away at the lead. They finally tied it at 105 and 107, the latter coming with a minute left in the contest. Murray’s three-pointer put the Kings back up at 110-107. The Nets missed a three-pointer at the other end, and Malik Monk iced the contest with two free throws.
