The San Francisco Giants won the first two games of their four-game home series against the San Diego Padres to move to a season-best seven games over .500, but the Padres came back to win the next two to split the series.
Each of the four games went opposite of their real-life result.
Heliot Ramos batted .353 (6-for-17), including a walk-off home run. Willy Adames hit three home runs (giving him 16 on the season), while Wilmer Flores had two (giving him 10). Logan Webb won his team-high seventh game of the season.

June 2 (6-1 win): Logan Webb turned in another commanding performance, giving up three hits and one run in eight innings with eight strikeouts. It was tied 1-1 heading to the bottom of the eighth, and the Giants’ offense finally awoke to give Webb the victory. The Giants hit three home runs to account for five runs in the inning. Wilmer Flores led off with a solo shot, Willy Adames hit his second of the game, a two-run blast, and Patrick Bailey also had a two-run homer. Webb improved to 7-3.

Camilo Doval blew a save in the ninth when Jackson Merrill led off with a triple and scored on Xander Bogaerts’ sacrifice fly, tying it at 3-3. But in the bottom of the ninth, Heliot Ramos hit a walk-off solo homer with one out, his 10th home run of the season.

The bullpen couldn’t keep the game in check late, giving up single runs to the Padres in the eighth and ninth. Willy Adames hit a solo homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to get the Giants within one run, but no closer.
