The San Francisco Giants had an eventful three-game series at Colorado and won another series with a pair of victories. After scoring just one run in the first 16 innings, they put up 22 in the final 13, including a season-high 16 runs in the finale.
Jerar Encarnacion only hit two home runs in limited action in 2025, but he hit three in the first two games of this series. Willy Adames hit his 17th home run, tying him with Matt Chapman for the team lead.

June 11 (6-5 win, 11 inn.): The Giants trailed 3-0 after seven innings. The Giants finally scored in the eighth on Andrew Knizner’s RBI single. With two outs in the top of the ninth inning, Jerar Encarnacion hit a two-run homer to extend the game. The Giants looked to have the game in hand after scoring twice in the top of the 10th, but the Rockies did the same in the bottom half of the frame. In the top of the 11th, a double play wiped out the Giants’ ghost runner. But Encarnacion hit his third home run of the series to put the Giants up 6-5. San Francisco managed to keep the Rockies at bay in the bottom of the 11th and evened up the series.

June 12 (16-3 win): The Giants didn’t wait long to score their runs in the finale, getting five runs in the second inning and seven more in the third. Willy Adames had the stat line of the season, going 5-for-6 with a double, a home run and eight RBI. He had a three-run double in the second, a two-run single in the third and a three-run homer in the ninth. Wilmer Flores and Casey Schmitt also homered. Hayden Birdsong improved to 4-2.
