The San Francisco Giants earned their first sweep in about a month and a half, taking all three games at home against the New York Mets. The Giants reversed their real-life results, as they actually lost all three. In the replay, San Francisco is now 12 games over .500, their best mark at the end of any series this season.
Logan Webb won his 15th game and Robbie Ray pitched the team’s first complete-game shutout of the season. Jung Hoo Lee went 7-for-13 (.538) and Willy Adames hit his 28th home run.
