The Arizona Diamondbacks wrapped up their season-long dominance of the San Francisco Giants by taking two of three games in their final matchup. Arizona won all four series and went 11-2 against San Francisco.
Matt Chapman went 4-for-12 (.333) to lead the Giant hitters and Kai-Wei Teng won his first game of the season.

Sept. 15 (2-1 win): After several terrible starts, Kai-Wei Teng (1-4) came through with a great one, striking out 10 and pitching seven scoreless innings. The Giants loaded the bases with one out in the fourth inning and Drew Gilbert provided an RBI single for the game’s first run, and they then scored another run on an RBI fielder’s choice by Jung Hoo Lee. Arizona got a run off San Francisco’s bullpen in the eighth but left the potential tying run on third base.
