Not only have the San Francisco Giants far surpassed their real-life 2025 squad, but after beating the Los Angeles Dodgers three out of four times in their final meeting, the Giants are on the verge of winning the National League West in the replay.
The final adjusted NL West records for San Francisco’s closest opponents (changing their records based on head-to-head games with the Giants): Los Angeles at 87-75, San Diego at 86-76 and Arizona at 84-78. With six games to play in the regular season, the Giants are at 86-70.
After going 4-9 against the Dodgers in real life, the Giants went 10-3 in the replay.
Logan Webb became a 20-game winner with a victory in the opener. Six different Giants hit home runs in the series. Jung Hoo Lee was one of them and he had a team-high six hits, batting .429 (6-for-14).

Casey Schmitt had a solo homer in the second inning (his 16th) and Rafael Devers added a solo shot in the eighth inning (his 20th) for the game’s only two runs. Logan Webb (20-7) pitched seven scoreless innings for the victory.

Sept. 21 (8-4 win): The Giants put the game out of reach early by scoring four times in the top of the first. Rafael Devers had an RBI double, Matt Chapman had an RBI single and Jung Hoo Lee hit a two-run homer. Christian Koss had a solo shot in the fourth inning and it was 7-0 after the top of the sixth thanks to a two-run double by Heliot Ramos. The Dodgers closed the gap a bit with the help of three solo homers, but not enough. Trevor McDonald got the win in his first start of the season.
